Summer Brain Exercise #1

So, here will begin our fun!

Alphabet Soup - Why are some letters above the red line and some letters below?

There is no math involved!

Great Practice and Information

Students should access PENDA through the week for practice when possible. They can access it through the county website, student software.

Parent Volunteers: If you would like to participate in school events such as field trips, you will need to complete the Parent Volunteer form online through the county website. It can no long be completed on paper. If you are not approved then parents will not be allowed to be a chaperone on a field trip, or participate in classroom activities.

Supplies Needed Daily

In order for students to be successful they must be organized. Here is a list of supplies your child will need to have everyday in order to do their best.

Most Needed Supplies:

*erasable pens (pencil sharpeners waste tremendous learning time in the classroom)

*loose leaf notebook paper

*1- pocket folder

*1- composition notebooks

*1- 2 inch binder

*1 set of dividers

Other supplies for classroom use:

*post-it notes

*highlighters

*package dry erase markers (dollar tree)
*box of tissues
*hand sanitizer/liquid soap

Optional supplies:

*crayons/colored pencils
*glue

Wish List:

*copy paper white or colored

*individually wrapped candy

*anything extra on supply list
